Bill Campbell

Aside from the classroom, Bill's CC activities included sophomore class president, Honor Council, Phi Delta Theta, and Blue Key. When the then-student government - Associated Students of ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï - disbanded, Bill was one of several students who formed the initial version of CCCA. After law school at CU and a year in Australia on a Rotary Foundation fellowship, Bill served on the CC alumni board that reformed itself into the current national alumni association.
Bill was an alumni trustee from 1978 to 1984 and, after chairing the Annual Fund, was elected a charter trustee in 1989. He held a variety of board positions, including several standing committees, two presidential search committees, chair of the Audit Committee, and secretary of the board. He retired from the board in 2015 and was appointed a life trustee.
In his profession and in the community, Bill was president of his county bar association, a member of the Board of Directors of World Trade Center - Denver, and a member of the Vestry of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. After 37 years as a practicing lawyer in Golden and Denver, he was appointed executive director of the Colorado Commission on Judicial Discipline, which monitors the compliance of state judges with the Colorado Code of Judicial Conduct. He has held that position since 2009.
Bill and his wife, Marsha, reside in Denver. They have four children, including Anne '02, and nine grandchildren.
