Statements to Use in Student Materials
Faculty, course instructors, program directors, and deans are strongly encouraged to use an appropriate statement in handbooks and syllabi they prepare for students in their classes and programs. We have provided the following options to choose from; these statements all make it clear that if a student has a disability it is his or her responsibility to seek accommodations. The statements provide directions to the student on who to contact to make a request.
Questions and Concerns
Faculty or staff with any questions or concerns about accommodations, services, or students with disabilities should contact the disability access specialist in the Division of Student Engagement.
