Dr. Trevor James oversees the business administration as well as organizational management and leadership majors. He strives to make each of his classes engaging and energizing. 鈥淚 try not to just teach the material but make it applicable for the students. That way they are able to use what they learned in the classroom the next day at work or in their daily lives,鈥� he says.
James has an extensive background in higher and adult education, as well as marketing, management, and human resources in both the nonprofit and public sectors. He has worked for companies such as North Shore Healthcare and J. Walter Thompson.
James received master鈥檚 degrees in business administration and theological studies from North Park, along with academic certificates in human resources and marketing. He obtained his doctorate degree in leadership for the advancement of learning and service in higher education at Cardinal Stritch University.
