Welcome to the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï 150th Ambassador Toolkit, your one-stop resource for supporting peer-to-peer promotion of CC’s 150th Anniversary and Homecoming 2024. Whether you're considering becoming an ambassador or you've already signed up, this toolkit is designed to help you rekindle connections and inspire excitement for these milestone events. You’re the expert at connecting with your people—this toolkit is here to make your outreach even easier and more impactful. Together, we’ll create a weekend alumni cannot wait to come home for!

Ambassador Roles

Take this year and Homecoming weekend as an opportunity to rekindle old relationships, deepen existing connections, and expand your CC community.
Help us bring back a crowd by encouraging your network to register for the official events starting August 19th. This toolkit makes it easy to invite your friends and share key information.
Organize and promote informal meetups outside of formal programming. Check out the list of participating local organizations, downtown discounts, and on campus opportunities below!

Spread the Word

Everyone loves an invite from a friend! Personal invites from peers are the greatest way to increase excitement and attendance for Homecoming. And we’ve made it easy for you to One of the most effective ways to get people excited about Homecoming is through personal outreach. Personal invites from friends and classmates receive an invite directly from you, it feels more personal and impactful, increasing the likelihood they'll join in the celebrations!

  • Email Your People: Reach out to your network with a personalized email invite. We've made it easy by providing customizable .
  • Request an Email List: Not sure how to reach everyone? We can help! If you need contact information for your classmates or specific groups, we can provide you with an email list. Simply complete this to protect alumni privacy, and email your request to alumni@coloradocollege.edu. We’ll get you the details you need to start spreading the word.
Text Your Friends: A quick text message is sometimes all it takes to get someone excited. Use our to make it even easier.

Facilitate Gatherings

Reconnecting with your CC community is at the heart of this year’s 150th celebrations. We’re making it easy for alumni to organize and enjoy meaningful, informal gatherings with your friends and classmates. Reflect on who “your people” were at CC—whether they were classmates, teammates, or fellow club members—and think about how you’d like to reconnect. Whether you choose to meet on campus or explore the local area, there are plenty of options to make your gathering special.

The Colorado Springs community is rolling out the red carpet to welcome you back! From exclusive dining experiences to tailored adventures and historical tours, local businesses are offering special discounts and promotions to enhance your 150th Homecoming experience. These off-campus options are perfect for intimate dinner dates or small group outings, allowing you to enjoy the best of Colorado Springs while reconnecting with your CC peers. If you prefer to stay on campus, there are plenty of ways to reconnect during the 150th Homecoming weekend. Whether you reserve a table for your group at the picnic, establish a meeting spot at the Extravaganza, or take advantage of the Hospitality Suite, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to gather with your friends in familiar surroundings. The campus is ready to welcome you home!
