Canva
The Office of Communications and Marketing makes Canva Pro available to our communication partners on campus. It is a tool that allows you to create official branded materials for college offices, departments, programs, and events and only for use by staff, faculty, and student workers.
Contact the Office of Communications to get information on gaining access to the CC Canva account or if you need help with Canva.
Tips for using Canva:
- Templates: Each of the double-starred folders have CC-branded templates for you to use and adapt for your needs.
- When creating graphics for the web, make sure to keep accessibility in mind by limiting words embedded in graphics. Keep web graphics simple and easy to read. Enter any embedded text into the "alt text" field in the CMS.
- Please use good housekeeping when organizing your work. Make sure your work is put into your folder on the left-hand side of the Canva screen.
- When creating digital signage for campus screens, please download your slide in png format. (Jpg files created in Canva do not present properly on campus screens.)
- NOTE: Canva is not an archive for the storage of your work. Please download your materials when completed and organize them on your own or office’s OneDrive.
