Students who are taking classes away from campus that are less than a semester in length:

If you are studying away from campus for two or fewer blocks in the upcoming academic year, you may participate in housing selection and retain your assignment all year. However, students planning to study away on a two-block program in Blocks 7 and 8, or in Block 8 only, must completely move out of their housing assignment before departing to their study away destination.

Students who are studying abroad fall semester of their Senior year:

If you are studying away from campus for the fall semester of your senior year, please be aware that housing is not guaranteed upon your return to campus for your final spring semester. On-campus housing is prioritized for students who are required to live on campus (in their first three years), and we anticipate that these students will mostly fill on-campus housing options to capacity.
