Koray Gates is a senior majoring in political science with a minor in journalism. He’s actively engaged in the CC community and committed to creating positive change. As a sophomore, he served on the CCSGA Finance Committee and represented students on the Library and ITS board. He also co-founded Injustice Watch, a club focused on holding local courts accountable through a judicial report card, in partnership with Citizen’s Project. Koray has been heavily involved with the Outdoor Education office, leading over 30 days of trips and serving as Marketing Coordinator for the past two years. |

Rakim is in his second year with the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Student Government Association (CCSGA), serving as Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. With a background in local government and diverse educational settings—including peer-to-peer, K-12, and outdoor education—he is committed to making our campus a place where everyone feels a true sense of belonging, regardless of their background. As a Music, Education, and Society major, he finds inspiration in jazz, both as a listener and a guitarist, and he enjoys spending his downtime knitting. This year, Rakim is especially motivated by the legacies of leaders like Bantu Stephen Biko and Sojourner Truth, who fought tirelessly for justice and equity. Their courage and resilience fuel his drive to create a campus where every student feels valued, empowered, and truly at home. |

Julia Watson is a senior double major in IPE and Romance Languages from Bend, Oregon. As the Vice President of Student Life, her focus is on building and strengthening an inclusive community at ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï through collaborative leadership and event planning. She is eager to further build relationships with student organizations on campus and is looking forward to planning more campus-wide events to foster a greater sense of community on campus. Outside of her role in CCSGA, Julia's interest range from skiing, to spending time with friends, to event planning for student organizations, to collaging, skateboarding, hiking and so much more! She hopes that in working towards student interests through her role, she is able to learn more about what is lacking from the student experience and what she can do to enhance each student's time at ºÚÁϳԹÏ!

Gina is a senior majoring in Political Science and minoring in Philosophy. They are proudly part of the various groups on campus as a musician, employee, and editor: Gamelan Tunjung Sari Ensemble, Ahlberg Gear House, Seay Music Library, and The Lotus Publication. They are an underwater enthusiast and spend most of their free time cooking and philosophizing. If you run into them in class or elsewhere on campus, feel free to talk to them about CCSGA, or anything above! |

Reign is in their fourth year serving on the CCSGA and currently holds the position of Vice President of Finance. Originally from Hawai'i, Reign’s journey to this role has been a long one, having been involved in student leadership since the second grade. She considers the decision to come to CC as one of the best they've made, as it has fueled a growing passion for the school and community. Drawing on their major in Business Economics & Society (BESoc), Reign is committed to making sound financial decisions that benefit the student body. She deeply appreciates the trust placed in her to manage the community’s funds and assure students that their financial contributions are in capable hands. Reign remains focused on enhancing the college experience by collaborating with and incorporating feedback from the student body. She encourages continued communication to ensure that every voice is heard in the decision-making process.

Royce is a junior from Bayfield, CO, where he grew up on his family's ranch. He's a 2022 Boettcher Scholar deeply passionate about bridging gaps across Colorado's myriad geographic, political, and socioeconomic differences. As such, his tenure as Vice President of Outreach is focused on intentional, Colorado-minded connection. Bolstering small-business revenues, centering traditionally underrepresented communities, and building a stronger sense of place for students are at the core of his work. When Royce isn't planning the next Outreach event, you can find him on President's Council, Blue Key Honor Society, the Board of Directors for Cutler Publications, doing his Sounds of ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï radio show, running, or vintage shopping!
