Student Health & Wellbeing
We recognize that there is no singular pathway to wellbeing. So, our approach to Health and Wellbeing is an integrated holistic one designed to allow students to connect with the resources and programs that meet their needs.
Included in Student Health & Wellbeing are:
- Student Health Center (run by Optum): Health professionals offer visits for urgent and routine care.
- For medical emergencies, call 911. For urgent medical concerns on campus, you can also call Campus Safety (719-389-6707) who will coordinate with the Colorado Springs Fire Department and American Medical Response of Colorado Springs, and our campus CCEMS first responders.
- Counseling Center: Licensed mental health professionals provide a range of confidential mental health services, including individual counseling, referral services, 24/7 after-hours crisis support, and support groups.
- Sexual Assault Response and Support: The Campus Advocate offers confidential advocacy and support services for anyone harmed or affected by sexual and other gender-based violence.
- Wellness Resource Center: Through health campaigns, workshops, peer education, and individual appointments, the WRC provides health promotion services and prevention education to support individual and community well-being.

Supporting the human quest for identity and belonging we cultivate an education of the heart to enrich the life of the mind at CC through rituals, practices, engaged communities, and individual spiritual and pastoral care. The Chaplain serves as a confidential resource on campus.
- Immunization/Health Documentation Requirements: In order to maintain the health of the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï community, the college requires all entering students to submit documentation of certain immunizations and health screenings.
- Student Health Insurance Plan: All students are required to have comprehensive health insurance while attending ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï AND to provide annual proof of coverage. This requirement is an attempt to minimize catastrophic financial risk for students.
