Research Help

Borrowing Books

You can borrow books (and videos and other stuff) at the circulation desk on the first floor. The circulation desk is also where you check out books, videos, or other items that a professor has placed on reserve for your class.

Collections

Our library collections-books, journals, online subscriptions, and more-are selected by CC librarians and faculty to support the CC curriculum. Remember that we can help you obtain books and articles from other libraries via . Please ask a librarian if you need help with library collections.

Carrels and Lockers

Students writing a senior thesis are eligible for longer checkout periods and reserved thesis carrels.

Computers and Technology

We have many computers available in the library. All computers have standard office software and web browsers.

Tutt Library also houses the ITS: Solutions Center for your questions about technology at CC; the Tech Sandbox for multimedia projects; and computers optimized for students with disabilities.

In addition to computers, we have printer/copier/scanners on every floor, a microform scanner, and specialized book-scanning devices (the last by appointment only).
